What the reviews agree on
Tom’s Guide called them the best AirPods yet, praising the noise cancelling and transparency mode. What Hi-Fi called them delightfully dependable, especially for iOS users, and Digital Trends liked them after months of use. The dissent is about fit: T3 found the redesigned shape less secure than the Pro 2, which hurt real-world noise cancelling, while RTINGS and Tom’s Guide found the fit comfortable and stable.
Volt’s take
On an iPhone, these are an easy recommendation, but buy from a store with simple returns so you can check the fit. Already happy with your Pro 2? The upgrade is nice, not necessary. Compare with the cheaper AirPods 5, which now have noise cancelling too.
