Its predecessor went viral on TikTok for film-like photos straight out of the camera, and the X100VI inherited that hype, with back orders reported by TechRadar.

What the reviews agree on

DPReview scored it 87%, praising the stabilised 40MP sensor. TechRadar called it an everyday delight. Tom’s Guide liked the images but flagged the single UHS-I card slot. Battery life and the fixed lens are the recurring caveats.
